I was given a holley this weekend and no info about it. I have searched for the list number on Holleys web site but turned up nothing. What I found odd ball was that the base plate is iron rather then normal aluminum. Its list number is 3887. It also seems to have two meter blocks. Anyone wanna help me out here.

Does it have a number on the choke horn?

Picture is worth a thousand words  ::)

The number I gave came from the choke horn. It reads List-3887 there is a couple more numbers, 972 and 3924592

it was used on a gm/chevy truck back in 1968/69 for a 427 motor.  4150-g

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

So its a 4150 model. Must have been one of those industrial motors like a dump truck etc. Any idea on the CFM. Seems all I end up with are the 600'S

IF memory serves me the 4150 series were 780 cfm

Rayzor

Ok, thanks for the help. If I am not mistaken its a mechanical secondary correct. Hmm, might have to keep looking for a vac 750. to feed the 440

The 4150 series carbs came in cfm ratings from 600 to 850.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
