Hey guys, My dimmer wasnt allowing power to get to my fuse panel to light my cluster, so I cut the black, green(2 wires on bottom) and tan wire off the switch and connected them all together. The only wires I left on the switch are the yellow ones for the dome light, will this still activate the dome light? I figured it was just grounding the yellow wires. Was I right to attach those other 3 wires together? Thanks

LOL... funny part of this is that I already had this diagram made LOL and I think in fact I made based on a 68 diagram.

All you need is jump this terminals on plug or directly at dimmer prongs.

yes, dome light will keep working.

Frequently, the dimmer porblems are just because the green stuff ( oxide/sulfated ) rehostat, what are more less easy to fix with patiente and propper products.

you didn't need to cut any wire AND EVEN LESS on headlight switch

Thanks Nacho,   I couldnt figure out how to make a jumper on the switch so I thought id just cut them and fasten them together with a proper connector. Everything seems to work ok, but im having dome light issues, i think somthing is wrong with the actual light tho.

I by pass mine for 2 reasons its alot of work to changeout the roll switch. And you dont need to dim your dashlights they are never bright enough anyway.I went to 194 bulbs from the 158-s they originally had.
