I love the 71 Cudas and Challengers due to the grille's and taillights. Especially with the elastomeric bumpers. Then a close second would be the 70's.

I have also always loved the dashes and the way they wrap around and glow blue at night!

1970 by far, then 1971 and the rest. Actually, I went for a ride in my friend's sweet '70 440 'Cuda on Friday :drool5: Black, white hockey stick, Shaker hood, Weld wheels. This is the only picture I have of it that he sent me. This was taken when he bought it....

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

the 69  cuda is very rare and had two hood scoopes , you got a 440 cramed in the little a body   They are awesome

I had a 68 340 Formula S,  notch back, auto , numbers match,  I used as a winter beater! I wish I still had that car!  :RantExplode:

71 Cuda is the only E body I would choose just for the grill and 4 beams setup, however I like a lot the parking lights location on the rest. I don't drool on Challys because the mid body line

71 based on the gills and the front grill (But I like the 70 taillights better than the 71)

But my first memory of a muscle car was seeing a red 70 AAR when I was like 7. After that, I was hooked!

Then technically, you should have included '69, since the 'Cuda package was first introduced on the '69 model. ;)


Personally, I prefer the 68 fastback to all other Barracuda/'Cudas, then any other 2nd gen, then the E bodies.  64-66 would be last.

1968 fastback. Of the ones on your list, I'd say '70. '71 is my least favorite; I hated that grill in '71 but have grown over the years to only mildly dislike it.

The only one I have not owned is a 68 S/S. That would be serious fun. I drove a 65 Plymouth A990 once and that was a bad ass car.

I voted for '71 but I gotta say that I am completely burned out on ALL the 2nd gen fish. I never liked the 1st gen so those arent an issue. I mean really...I love this better:
