Hi,

I suppose I question myself (and you  ::) ) for nothing, but I saw this morning when cleaning my springs (I'm going to paint them to match the rebuilt/repainted rear-end) that a rubber part under a metal wrapping is destroyed.  ::)
I know this thread is useless without pics, but... Do you know what I'm talking about?  :shruggy:
Is it really usefull or will I have problems?

Thanks:  ;)

if you're talking about what I think you are then that rubber is just an "anti-squeak" pad to keep your springs from making a bunch of noise....it should be okay to drive with out it  :2thumbs:
Remember the average response time to a 911 call is over 4 minutes.

The average response time of a 357 magnum is 1400 FPS.

Maybe front or rear bushings? Yeah, you gotta have them!

I think the OP is talking about the rubber insulators on the spring clamps that hold the leafs together, a spring shop will have new ones.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Hi,

camera batteries died last week, and my Internet connection @ home is shot.  :brickwall:
Anyway, thanks for the pic!  ;)
