. . .  Fury?  I know it's a Plymouth name, which has since departed.  But they were big powerful 4-door cars.  And to my thinking it looks MUCH more in line with the old Chrysler 300s than their current namesake.

Any name of a car that had four doors would have been better. But it would still be ugly.

Blown70

Dodge Cornet?  Dodge Monaco, Polara, Fury IV(?), Make it longer and call it a Chysler IMPERIAL? :shruggy:

DC_1

Since they dusted of the name Magnum.......why don't they call it the Cordoba!!!.........and we can drag Ricaordo Montobon outta his wheel chair if he is still alive and do TV commercials

bull

They never made any four door Cordobas either but I don't think anyone would get riled like they did with the name Charger being used.

TruckDriver

I still think Magnum Sedan would of been best cause thats what it more less is ::)

Actually, the Aspen is going to be the Chrysler version of the Durango.

The Avenger replacement is going to be called the...Avenger.  (Remember, the avenger was "replaced" by the stratus coupe.

Dodge Diplomat? I can certainly see how this could have evolved into what is called the 2006 Charger.

:iagree: Although, then they would have had to call the wagon...a wagon. And wagon's ain't as cool as they once were.

Okay, they weren't really ever cool. :icon_smile_big:

I think they could have called it Magnacharger & nobody would have blinked twice at that name.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

andy74

call it what you want, its still a bland styled 4 door boring sedan with a cheap ass interior, and german engineered crap.

sorry about the rant, dcx is really pissing me off today-Andy

I think either Magnum Sedan or Creeder would fit fine...that's what most of us call it anyway. But, no name is going to make up for the fact that it's UGLY, and not just plain ugly - I mean, red headed step child fell out of an ugly tree and hit EVERY branch before landing face first in a pile of dog crap UGLY.

Or, better yet, since the performance is there, what if they left the name as Charger and restyled it into something attractive?????

The guy next door to my friend has one sitting out back (looks almost exactaly like the Christine one), and he never drives it.  I thought it might be a good project for my friend and I.  Are they nice cars?  I don't really know much about them.

The old 'finned' Plymouths and Chryslers - think BATMOBILE (the original TV George Barris one), except more powerful engine and fewer rockets.

I know what they look like, I was just wondering if they were nice cars.  Ive never been inside one and I don't know what the engines like.  The project was a 57 or 58.
