I've seen dual snorkel air cleaners out there. Was this an option on '69 440 R/T engines or an entirely different car?

Might of been on California Noise Reduction package cars.

According to Paul Herd's book "Charger, Road Runner & Super Bee Restoration Guide":

"California cars - including high-performance models - used a twin snorkel silenced air cleaner in 1969 0n the 383ci and 440 4bbl powerplants (California's noise law required use of this unit)...."

"That" is why I qualified it. Probably correct but slightly dubious based upon the source. Everything in his books cannot be wrong.   :laugh:
