i have a 74 runner but my dificult ? is they made 2 sending units that year one with a strait fitting and one with a 90 degree fiting but can a guy get a 90 any where or does any one make it and can a guy use the strat on and will it work or do i just chance it that the strait one will work if any one know the answer would be greately appreciated u can email me or ph me at m16king@netscape.net or 701 799 9491 or 701 364 0648 thanks pat

My '71 had a 90 degree fitting, but all the replacements I found had the straight fitting.  It works fine.

It works fine or it fits fine?  ;)

stock is 45º fitting.

if you ask me, would choose straight fit unit. 90º degrees unless is far way from plate, will be hard to match with line on frame rail. hose will be lot twisted
