Hey Shakey, someone's be playing connect the dots on your calenders.

I actually did that.  I posted the unedited version in another thread a few weeks back but it got turfed, I guess it was too wild or maybe too tame!  Played it safe this time!

I don't have an inside to my garage yet, so heres a pic of my garages' underbelly. I poured the footings about 8 weeks ago, the block foundation is almost done...... 24X40 ............maybe by next summer I'll have the roof on her..... checkerboard floor by 2008?????   :icon_smile_big:   Andy

What is the form widened out for on that inside corner?

Where the blocks are stacked will be a full basement area which will be under the new foyer which will connect existing house to new garage. to the left is the stairwell from the new garage into the new basement..... the widened part is for a double flued chimney to service the new location for the oil burner in the basement and the wood burning stove in the garage....... I have about 3 more days before the foundation is complete, now if the weather would just cooporate. I'll post progress pics, especially when the 68 has a home of her own! Andy

This is embarrassing. :-[
Ok, here's my pit of a garage...in a nice top-lit night view. :icon_smile_big:
Usually my Vmax is stuffed in the little hole to the left of the 4-wheeler, but tonight it's at my work.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Typical triple ......I get two stalls, the wife gets one.  I  put a wall up between hers and mine.  This shot is with my back against that wall.

Looks like you have enough stuff to build a few cars Lee!

I have seen your car somewhere before (I recall the plate) but I can't remember where!

Anyways, garage looks good and the car has great potential.

Now we know where all the 69 grilles went. ;D

Nice looking garage area you've got there. :yesnod:

ChargerAndy, I'm surprised you did'nt go with a reinforced monolithic pour. It's more labor extensive in forming, but monolithic pours handle natural settlement much better, lateral hydrostatic pressures and lateral soil loads. If you do go with blocks, makesure you introduce steel reinforcement through the concrete blocks cores and connected to the vertical bars embedded in the footing. Block walls are known to walk out on you through the years. Seal the outside of the block wall with heavy tar. Would not hurt to place a drain pipe on the perimeter.

My garage is a mess compared to the ones that have been posted. Some of you are so lucky to have a huge garage!! Especially you OM, NHCharger and bunch others..
