383 4 barrel intake

Could I possibly get a part number and a pic

In 1968 and 1969 the part number is 2843684 (cast as number 2806301), and in 1970 and 1971 the part number is 2951665 (casting number 2951666).

Attached is a '66 383 4-bbl intake manifold as an example.

K I got the right intake and heads but there is a gap around the top of the block where the intake sits on the front and back of the block. Any idea what is suppose to go on there????Any pics would be much appreciated?

My guess would be the intake valley pan gasket is missing. Or you might be referring to these plates that cover the front & rear of the gasket under the hold downs.

is on that way, then you get below the intake a valley pan what works like a gasket to intake/heads faces.

The stuff Wing is talking about are a holder plates to the tappets sound insulation pads that some models got.
