Is my radiator cap crooked?

I think I got a repro part that is messed up?  Shouldn't the cap line up parallel to the radiator core top?  I looked at pictures on Chris's registry site and almost all of the caps lock in as I thought they should.  I put mine on several times and it always stops off angled?

, although not long put a new repop on mine & thats is slightly crooked  , but the  aftermarket stant one  i had was also from  memory

Your neck might be soldered on wrong.....

You know I was wondering about that?  It is an original radiator, just not the correct number like yours. Thanks.
