Picked up my Camaro 3 weeks ago and drove it 2000 miles on the Hot Rod power tour with my son Kurt. Awesome car and the best value of the three. I still think the Challenger looks the best and the Shelby has the best motor.
Now with one of each from the old big 3 and all first year models. With fuel prices, new regulation, and the green movement, how long will they make them; will they ever go up in value? Or will they just go down in automobile history as poor copies of the originals?
I'm not sure but I'm planning on keeping all three! I hope you enjoy the pic's
Pat

I'd take the Challenger for sure. Second would be the Mustang. The new Camaro just looks meh to me. I liked the Bumblebee version on Transformers. It looks like they changed it abit since that car. :yesnod: Sweet cars though Pat, I still miss the Charger though ;)

Nice pics Pat! Challenger 1st for sure, 2nd...kinda hard Im leaning toward's the Camaro but you say the Mustang kicks ass. If you had to say overall which is the best, what would you choose?

As for how much longer, isn't 2011 about the end for all the V8 powered cars?  Now will they go up or down is an interesting question for sure.  I'd like to think they will go up but if we enter a world with skyrocketing fuel costs and special surcharges for anything the greens hate, the current crop of ponycars could all become very passe overnight.

I'm sorry but Id take that camaro hands down over the challenger and the frod anyday. It just kills me that they made a car as nice as the challenger is on the outside and then stuck it with the crappy charger/300 interior. That takes the momentum away for me. Plus it weighs too damn much. I like the camaros interior, since it stayed close to the concept. and a fully loaded SS is about $5K cheaper than an SRT8.

But can I come work with you so i can have a garage like that too?????

chargerboy69

Love your new Camaro.  I have already seen double the new Camaros running around town than the new Challengers.  :-\

Lucky bastard  :drool5: all of these cars can be purchased in oz you would pay 200k for the shelby and looking at around 150K for the Camaro & Challenger with RHD conversion.

Three beautiful cars to play with.  :drool5:  You're a lucky man.  If I could do it, I would too.  I'd buy the Challenger first.

Very nice!  I like the Camaro the best out of all of them. The interiors are really cool looking.  I've only seen a few so far.  I saw a yellow v6 car with black stripes going down the highway, then I saw a silver SS with black stripes drive down my street.  My buddy's father just picked up his Blue SS:

Cody, The pictures of the Camaro just don't do the car justice the car looks so much better in person! All the pic's in the magazines looked ok, but when saw the car at Carlisle last year I had to get it!
Thanks all!

That is a really cool collection.  It's kind of like what we all would have done back in 69 if we could.  They look great, but I'd have to pick the Shelby for performance, the Challenger for looks, and the Camaro for practicality.  I have seen a lot of the Camaros compaired with the Challenger.  The Mustang has been around long enough now to see everywhere although not so common in Shelby form.
Thanks for posting the pics.!  They look awesome!

So are you saying you have a yacht also.  :icon_smile_big:

I think you should write an article on all three cars, I'd believe your opinion more than the magazines who did all the shoot out stuff!

A 3 year old 65 Fleming with a pair of 1100 HP MAN, 40 HP bow & 20 HP stern thruster, 9sqft stabilizers, full electronics, and a 13.5 tender with a 60 HP outboard will cost about 2.6m
