I had one from 1971 till 1978...Schwinn DeLuxe Stingray...Sky Blue....coaster brake model. It was faster than hell with a hyper kid pedaling it!!!! I broke my arm racing a Huffy in 1975, when I was 9.... My dad bought it used from the paper boy...it was a 1969 model. My brother (Tufcat) had a 1972 Jr. Stingray..green. Bought from Joes Schwinn in Warren, MI....still remember the brand new smell of that bike! Memories!!!!!

I agree! I never had a stingray I had a Chopper which I got for Christmas wrecked it hard on xmas day going down a steep hill  smashed the hell out of it and ended up in Hospital
