Windshield washer switch

I have a 68 charger and the switch for the windshield washer has lost all of its chrome but I have a switch from a 69 can I use that one instead looks alot nicer

I think 68-70 were the same....but if I'm wrong, someone will correct me on this

the only difference I see is on the 68 switch the bottom two prongs are vertical and the 69 switch the bottom two prongs are horizontal

The switch don't care which way the prongs are, as long as it works.

the 68 switch has 7 prongs and the 69 switch has 6 prongs i think i am in trouble or can i just knock the roll pin out and switch that way

For the washer switch???   Should only have 2 terminals.

Are you referring to the wiper switch itself?   If so the 7 terminal switch (with a small resistor on the back) should be a 3-speed wiper switch and the 6 terminal one would be for a 2-speed switch.

Yes another option would be to switch the chrome rockers by knocking out the roll pin....

I thought he was asking about the little square push button "washer" switch, not the wiper switch.  :shruggy:

When i knock the roll pin out the lever came out too from inside did i wreck or can i fix this
