For all of those Daytona's that were posted. The one is bronze, without the doors, I think that is being restored now. The Red one that was outside missing the wing I know has been sold. But the other red one, looks to be an SE DAytona is that true?

I don't have any pics to support my story, but here's my cars in barn story.   About twelve years ago I was at a friend's (gm) speedshop when the owner noticed my charger in parking lot.   After finding out the car was mine, he told me to walk across the street because the guy across the street had some cars with "clothes dryers" on the back of them.   So, I cross the street, knock on the guys door, tell him who sent me and off we go to the barn.   The guy opens the door and the following cars were right before my eyes:   70 hemi superbird, 70 440 superbird, 70 440 six pack challenger vert, 70 340 challenger vert, 68 gtx, 74(?) Super Duty Trans AM & a AMC Rebel Machine (Red White Blue).  It turns out the guy storing them was a relative, so he gave me the guys number.  Unfortunately, I've never called him and now I no longer have his number.  Also, the barn where the cars were is now gone.  This being said, I did see the owner driving the hemi just last summer and I know how to get ahold of him as he owns a relatively successful business.  I'm going to try to get ahold of him this thanksgiving when I visit my relatives.   I'm probably going to have a bunch of people telling me I'm full of it with this story.    :D  I'll post a new thread if I get ahold of the guy.  I'm sure he knows the worth of the vehicles and I haven't had any money until now, so that's why I haven't done anything until now.

Good luck, I hope you can score something cool.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I don't have enough cash to score anything but the 340 chally or the GTX.  My only chance with any of the others is if the guy has absolutely no idea what they're worth.  I don't really care about the brand x stuff I mentioned.  Thanks for the well-wishing!

It also helps to live in Arkansas where the cost of living is definitely cheaper.

:iagree:
I second this statement HodRod.   I was stationed at LRAFB for almost nine years and just recently PCS'd down here to the Florida panhandle this past May.   I loved taking a Sunday drive up Highway 5 north towards Greers Ferry and Huber Springs.   You could see several good "treasures" sitting in barns and sheds around that area, including Cleburne, White, Independance, and Craighead counties, just to name a few.

The cost of living in Arkansas is indeed, very, very reasonable.   I miss that state.   Governer Huckabee personally signed an "Arkansas Traveler" that I now have matted and framed and hanging up on my office wall!   I'd like to see him throw his name into the hat in two years for the White House.

I'll post some pics of a recent find in a few days. Once I resize the pics, and do some editing to them so that they don't show anything else of the owers that he doesn't want people to see.

I never find anything... but if you want to see some of the hundreds of cars I "haven't" found... take a look here.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

If it's got a 289 in there, it was a swap. That was originally a 6 cylinder car, because of the 4-lug hubs. The V8's were all 5-lugs.
