WHITE AND RED 69

Thats awesome. The challenger is my favorite of the new muscle cars. Now all they need to do is lose 500 pounds and lower the price then it might be able to compete with the mustang and camaro.

I'd cough up the extra $3k for the Challenger R/T.

Is that at the wheels? Youd have to give the nod here to the chally with its extra 1.4 liters.

OK - so what are the Comparo. specs for the Chally R/T?.. and the Chally has a usable back seat.

Black Charger

My only real complaint about the new Challenger R/T and SRT is that the customer doesn't have the option to delete the rear spoiler. Sure you could take it to a body shop and have that done, but who in the heck would want to do that to a brand new car? I just think that Challengers of any vintage look best without the rear spoiler.

SRT-440

My biggest complaint is price..I'm sure the 392 SRT8 is prolly creeping in at 50K?  :brickwall:

The Challenger is what I want, but the Camaro SS is wayyyy more bang for my buck...and chevy has made so many of them that they can be found with low miles used (yes they are more common to see than the chally). The RT isn't much cheaper and performance wise gets thumped by the SS.  :Twocents:

I like the look of the Challenger much more than the Camaro.  The Mustangs have a good retro look but I prefered the look of the Challenger in the 70s, and nothing has changed for me

Me too.  Especially the front end.  I think the front of the Camaro looks like an oversized Saturn Sky.

Have you seen the Mustang, Brock? The front seats are nearly ON TOP of the rear seats.

The problem is, and will continue to be the Challenger's weight. Lose some weight and the potent engines will put it at the front of the pack.

My '08 Mustang has enough room in the back seat for my  9 year old and some CD's... don't need more than that.

Ton of room up front... I'm 6'6" 235lbs and no problem.

The Mustang is a better car than the Challenger side by side.  I research cars to death when I'm gonna drop 30k+ on one.

At the $30K price point I'd still want a two year old Bullet Mustang over the V-6 Chally,. But if I could drop another $10K I'd go for the R/T.

Bullitt Mustang (2008) was a $3k option over what I bought, manual only. Black or Highland Green.  I looked at 'em but wanted an auto.

They should be WAY under $30k by now, PICK ONE UP!!

My two kids have been in the back seats of my Challenger on numerous occasions, and report to me that they have all kinds of room, and that the seats are very comfortable.
My son is 6' 3", my daughter 5' 11".

yeah, that was kinda' my point, that the Neo-Chally has a usable Back Seat, unlike the mustang,.. The Chally. especially this 12 second screamer has an Approx. $40+ price point, which rules it out of my concideration, and the Mustang has too little room in back, and I often carry four folks, sometimes five, I think the Dodge would actually accomodate five in a pinch, the mustang no way.
I don't really like all the crap that gets loaded onto these pony cars, especially the mustang, i don't like especially the hood scoops and weird spoilers and flares and boy racer paint jobs. I just want a Deep Water Blue R/T, and I'll skip the chromed wheels too. I like the Bullet Mustang a lot too, mostly cause they are a Hi-Po v-8 four speed without all the geegaws, not even a horsey in the grill, I'd get mine in Green, I doubt I'll ever own a black car again.
All that said - The reason I love my current daily the '99 300M is because it's really pretty sporty for a FWD 250 HP V-6, It has room for five which I do use on occasion, has tons of features, and gets approx. 18/22 MPG even here in the city traffic. oh, and it's paid for. Plus my bike fits in the trunk I doubt either Pony will do that.
Also, over the 7+ years I've had it it's been pretty much bullet proof.
I am looking though, and my top contender right this moment is a new Grand C. I really love that New One!  :drool5:

Did some searches online, no results. What are those SRT's gonna run dollarwise?
