Hi again with my stupidity. I stumble across yet another potential buy. What's it worth?

Sublime/Sixpack

That thing is rough! Offer him 500 bucks, he just might take it.

500 seems a bit low. I will see what happens if I get to see it in person. I was thinking 2500-3000. Too much?

Tilar

Probably not too much if the frame rails and main structure points are good. You know the floor pans need replaced already. The starting problem is probably bad gas or fuel fouled plugs since he says it tries to start but wont.

I thought you didn't want a 70.  :shruggy:

It seems like this guy has to many stories. I think he bought the car and it has something seriously wrong with it, so he's trying to flip out of it.

This Charger right here is a one of none, that means none before it, none to come.

:iagree:

He probably bought it sight unseen, then got it home and realized its rotten, now trying to "help another mopar lover get their dream car" LOL

It will most likely be a pile of rust in the parking lot within a year.

Take it from a guy that just went through this.  My 68 looked very good when I bought it, and I still had to purchase the following-

-New Full Quarters - $1,500 (AMD)
-New Floors - $600 (AMD)
-New front Frame Rails - $600 (Autorust)
-New rear Frame Rails - $600 (Autorust)
-New Rockers - $500 (AMD)
-Other doors - $400
-Other hood - $250

That's $4,500 just in metal!!!  Then if you need to pay someone for installing, who knows.

The only reason whey I did all this is because my car is a factory big block 4 speed with air.  For a 318, no way.......

Use this as a negotiation tool! :2thumbs:   You can find a clean 318 as a shell in Arizona or SW for probably $3k.
