My first Charger on Ebay

Never thought I'd see it again. I bought this 69 charger 10-12 years ago for $800. Was in college then and never had the funds or time to fix it up. So I sold it and made a huge $100 profit a year or so after I bought it. Always wondered what it would be worth today. Guess I'll find out in a few days. When I had it all the windows, lights, gas cap, etc. were in place, along with the interior. It also had a non running 318 under the hood.

$1,225 already, damn there is a lot of work to do there.   :o

My old car's on ebay as well, the white '70 440 six pack Charger R/T with burnt orange interior... Pretty weird seeing it in another world controlled by someone else.

You have an interesting story................

I found my first Charger not on ebay but on craigslist. Only thing that changed was the color and hood scoop. Most everything I did to it back then was still on the car :2thumbs:

Obviously, the 01 on the doors makes it worth buckets of cash.

There was no ebay, Craigslist, Barrett-Jackson, Speed Channel or internet access when I bought my first Charger! (Running, driving 73, shiny red paint, 10 year old car) :smilielol:  :smilielol:

What's really scary of the people that have bought a car that I passed on due to misrepresentation, and to find the new owner is doing the same.  I found a AAR Cuda about 5 years ago, but it wound up being a rebody and poorly done. Some poor sap from Texas bought it, and then held on to it for 3 years, and tried to do the same thing.  I just can't do stuff like that, I guess I'm way too honest....

Man, at least bidders sure have a good idea what they're getting in that auction...that's a TON of pics!

And I want that guy's pole barn.  :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I bet you they painted those "01" on it :scratchchin: Bam!!! Perfect start for a General Lee because of those spray painted "01"s! :smilielol:
