Ok, so check it out.... I'm working on a customers car the other day and he asks if that's my Charger parked over there. I told him it was and he begins to tell me that he used to work at our local Chrysler dealer from like 1958 to 1975 so he had seen it all. I would love to see what his eyes have seen. Anyway, he goes on to tell me that one time there was a married couple he knew that were at the dealership looking for a new car. Nothing seemed to grab them and they were headed out the door when a car carrier came in with a new shipment. On that carrier was a daytona yellow 69 R/T Charger. The couple immediately fell in love with it and bought it without even test driving it. It was a trac pack car supposedly and it stayed right here where I live until the couple both passed away a few years ago. The gentleman I met said that the car is still in the garage behind the house where the couple lived, but the house is vacant. The daughter and only child of the couple has a farm about 10 miles down the road. I asked him if he tried to buy it of course but he said she wants too much for it, $28k. Now if this car is in half decent shape, for an unmolested R/T, it's worth every penny of that. He said he would get me the daughters contact info and would call me. Just in case he doesn't, I went up front and copied his address and phone number off of the work order. I would love just to see this time capsule. It could be a seriously low mileage car. You don't find too many one owner R/T's anymore. Wish me luck.

"On that carrier was a daytona yellow 69 R/T Charger."

Is it a Yellow Charger Daytona?

Is it a Yellow '69 Charger R/T?

Or is it a '69 Charger R/T painted '69 Chevrolet "Daytona yellow"  :shruggy:

At first I pictured a big wing Daytona & thought what a steal. Then reread & sounds like no Daytona. Still sounds like a good deal if low mileage original in good shape. LEON.

Ok, forgive me for not knowing all of my mopar colors perfectly. I'm quoting what he said and I assumed that was a Dodge color. BRIGHT YELLOW folks.
