Can you help me decode this tag?

Hey all. This is the tag from a 68 I am looking at. I am having a hard time with the codes on this one, I know it's a 383 car, but could you guys help me docode, or tell me where a good decoder is.
The main problem I have is where the codes go in the decoder that I use.

I appreciate your help.

I use this decoder http://www.jimshine.com/tag%20info/68tagdecode.htm. It looks like a March 19, 1968 build, 383 4-bbl auto car, with a 3.23 no sure-grip rear end. The other codes are readable so have at it! If you have any problems I would be happy to do a more in depth decoding.

R6 - vinyl buckets
MB - light blue interior
EE1 - Dark Blue Metallic paint
UU - Light blue upper body color

H1 - power brakes
R1 - AM radio
X2 - tinted windshield only
Y6 - black vinyl top

a6 - console
b4 - bucket seats
h7 - hood turn signals
m6 - driver's side remote operated mirror

Tire Code 43 = 7.75 x 14" white sidewall tires

VIN or sales code does not tell you if it is an HP or not.
Since this is a 68 Charger, it is not an HP engine.

Gotcha.  I got my information from collecting various web data tag sources (who knows if they are correct ).

On my "cheat-sheet" I have listed code 52 (340-4bbl), code 62 (383-4bbl), and code 83 (440-4bbl) all as HP engines.  Are any of these correct for '68 (sans the aforementioned 383)?  How can I learn to tell?  What makes an HP engine?

Thought all 68 383 4bbl were hi po. the 440 4bbl comes both ways, Hi Po & Non Hi Po. LEON.

I have code 81 = 440-4bbl as the NON HP.

There were several 383-4bbl assemblies in 68. All coded the same in the VIN and all coded the same for the sales code. All had different horsepower ratings. The 335 horse was considered the HP version for B bodies and the 300 horse for A bodies.

Most on line decoders are incorrect as they do not distinguish between the different, and numerous, 68-70 383-4bbl assemblies. Chrysler didn't help either. The 440 HP and LP use different VIN and sales code numbers, the 383-4s do not. Plus the application changes year to year so it is hard to keep them straight.

52 and 83 are HP assemblies. 62 may be depending on the application.

While we are on the topic of '68 383's in various models....which 383 would of come in the '68 C-bodies? Particularly a Newport 4dr.

Cody, I don't have any 68 CE broadcast sheets for proof but I imagine it would be the 330 horse engine. There would be no reason for any of the C body plants to have any other assembly.
