best way to motorize Janak repop headlights

I have the charger vacuum motors, but I heard that electric is the way to go, anyone have experience with this mod?  I'm using Janak's cone, I don't like the cable arrangement and I don't want to put the old steel cone back on since I'm going to drive this car.  it will remain next to another piece of metal art in my living room.  Besides, my cat likes to sleep under it, its a 4 figure cat bed now.

Everything for vacuum is available.You can make it electric if you choose to.Have you ever seen how the 70 charger lights slam open and slam closed.It has been dicussed on here before .Dont know if anyone perfected it

Well I was looking into a linear actuator but after some checking with a friend that runs a junkyard I'm leaning toward a Ford  Probe headlight motor.
They're cheap  and he has alot so Ican pick up just incase spares to have around

Use vacuum. You'll be glad you did. We're using modified repro GTO vacuum pods. They're cheaper than the mopar stuff.  You can save the original pods for when the car is returned to original later on.

Here's a pic of how mine looks with the GTO pods.
The vacuum lines in the pic were for testing. Mike at Dayclona made me a very nice vacuum harness that I'll be installing...soon.
