I lived in Kennewick,WA. back in 1992 for 9 months. Does anyone remember a Yellow '69 Daytona w/a 426 Hemi black int/tail stripe 4 speed car? I worked at a body shop p/t and f/t at a tire shop called The Tire Station where Columbia Center Mall is located right off the highway. I believe its a FireStone dealer now.
I had my red/black '69 R/T SE charger and guy came in one day to talk w/me, said he had a wing car, I thought a wing car, yea OK, sure enough, he gave me a ride in it, dropped the hammer a few times on highway SR395. He stopped coming around after 5 or so months, never seen the car anymore or him, I heard by rumors he passed on. Anybody know of the car?

Thanks, Mark

In Y2. I can only think of a few orig 426 daytonas. Wayne Perkins #99 Glotzbach painted replica car orig Y2.Steve Siegel former mopar muscle car mag editor was a Y2 car.The Keith black LA Dodge Daytona owned by Holly hedrich Gilbert Tarr and Mike & Cathy Downing is a Y2 car
Then theres the chance is was a 440 Y2 car with a HEMI ? Also there is mention of a Y2 car in that general area described here

I worked for the owner of Cobra Boats and he did great work. I got my 3rd Daytona and 4th noses and Z brackets came from him. He made his molds from an Original Daytona; [[[[Pale Yellow Daytona with a black wing]]]. The Daytona owner worked with my Dad at Tektronix in Beaverton, OR. Cobra Boats was based out of Vancouver WA, and Oregon. That wing is well made. He could not get enough orders back in the 80's and sold his molds to someone back east. Most likely the molds go bad over time. We made our own aluminum wings so we never used his.

No, not Danes car. His son and I worked together at tire shop also, Dale was his name. He drove a blue '69 RoadRunner 383. I don't believe the Daytona was a real Hemi car either, motor was out of a RoadRunner or Coronet from what I can recall.
My ex still lives there, I'll try to get ahold of her to get more info. His dad worked at Hanford Plant site also.
