I remember Years ago (mid 70's - 80) in Rochester NY, actually in N. Greece on N. Greece rd there was a guy that lived there that had 2 or 3 wing cars. I used to live near him and i saw them parked there until I moved away in 84....
Anyone remember seeing them or hearing about them and what may have happend to them? I had heard he finally dismantled them and has them in is basement and garage or barn.

Also since i moved out to AZ. I friend has told me there were 2 wing cars parked in a field off I-10 west of Tucson and I think he said in the late 80's or early 90's, anyone remembers these or know what has happend to them?

Im not sure if this is the guy .But I recall a Steve Batagilia from way back in upstate NY with a quite few superbirds. The AZ superbirds might be the old Wayne Beeler cars there were 2  sitting in AZ.Ken Hemityme restored one for Joe Ward who passed and owned one of those AZ cars.Take a look on cars in barns you may see the cars you remember. It might be these on the first link provided. Also take a look on wingcar car index on the 2 nd link provided

Steve Battaglia here in Buffalo is down to 3 I think from maybe 7 that he had a few years back.  Pretty cool stuff, he has hit a few cruises this year in his petty blue bird.

Not sure about the Rochester birdman.

Rick.

thanks for thlinks but the AZ  wing cars cannot be the same as you posted because they were not in a junk yard and were in a field against a fence facing the freeway, this is what i was told.
As far as the other pics, nope, the ones in N Greece NY are not pictured, I will be going back to Rochester to visit family in about a month and i will drive past there again, it has been over 25 yrs since I was there.....
