And a big massive thanks to this board for helping me along the way.

This should give hope to any backyard restorers like myself.

I did everything body, paint, engine, everything all myself with help along the way from great buddies and lots of beer.

Sure am glad you all like this one.  Everyone has their own preferences but at the end of the day, its a Charger - period.

This was a 1.5 year project that involved most of that time getting the body done.  If I was to recommend anything to any of you who may be restoring their cars themselves, it would be this:

Take your time with the body work!  Don't leave any area untouched.

Oh, and borrow the mac daddiest spray gun you can get your hands on.  I used a SATA and wow...3 coats of base, 5 coats of pearl and 6 coats of clear.  All in one day!!!!

Your car looks great. With a car as perfect as a 69 Charger it's easy to mess it up when you modify it. Yours looks really good.

I've come back to this thread about 100X to look at (and show people) your car. Again, GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DPL

Wow guys, I really appreciate all the comments.

Yes, the wheels are American Racing Shelby Cobra.  In truth I expected to hear some negative comments on this choice!  Ford wheels on a mopar...

I'll fire up some more photos soon.

Again thanks everyone

those wheels have been at the top of my list for Fav. Wheels since I was 10 when I had a Clear MPC FORD J car model in 1967,.. With the gold color and the red/blue (left right) spinners I think they are a work of art in themselves,..
:drool5: eagerly awaiting pics and details of your own creation...  :popcrn:
