getting depressed that i couldnt' find a charger under 30 grand (AU$, no really, nothing) i decided to get something else. i found this firebird on ebay
it's an 88 model. the Firebird/Transams were NOT released in australia, so they are quite unusual. i'll go join a pontiac forum, but i'll keep coming
back here as i still like the charger.



As you probably know it's winter in australia now. I'm thinking of painting it black  :2thumbs: (hint hint)

Nice looking car. To bad Trans Am's weren't over there, they are really cool cars.  There are none there, no one shipped one over?
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

You need $40,000 to get in the market here in Australia, for a running decent car,  I love the Chargers and also got a 78 Trans Am  which is good bang for the buck.

Where in Australia are you located?
I just checked the weather in Sydney. Mid teens for the high, lows overnight of 7.
I'm coming down there shortly, and I don't want to pack a parka!
