If I bought that, I'd put it back to a 500. Then I'd buy a regular '69 and make a Daytona out of it. What's better than using original Daytona stuff!

You know Troy...depending on how things work out...if you got that car, you would have a C500, a Daytona and the possiblity of a clone Daytona using real parts :scratchchin:

You don't happen to have any pictures of all 3 of the 500's together do you? That would be a nice looking picture. 2 B5 blue 500's, and a F5 green car right? So what is your plan with the nose cones and wing's that were on the other 2 500's?

I used to have some pictures of Ray's 500 when he was starting to do some work on it, but when the computer crashed earlier this year I lost those pictures. The car looks very nice now.

Well, the F5 car is for sale (cheap) and the wing and nose go with it. The other wing/nose combo is for for sale as well. Make an offer?

Troy know you know what its like to leave a trail of broken necks when you are out in your Daytona! Even Mopar people sometimes dont know what a 69 500 is. But its nice to have one of each. :icon_smile_big:  Jay.

Hahaha.. Jay, yes I do... It would be nice to have both, that's for sure.. But, that's a pretty lofty goal at this time. I'll settle for the Daytona at the present time.....  Maybe in the future I can pick up a C500 project.

If I had the money, I would buy it, convert it back to a C500, sell off the Daytona parts to complete the rest of the C500

But I don't....so I guess I'm dreaming again

yep. that looks like the one I looked at a few months ago in Oregon that sold for 35k. It's still missing one of the fender scoops I see and they did change the wheels and tires. Going for a big profit for changing a set of wheels and tires i would say  :eek2:. If you wanted to restore that car to a C500 it would take lot and lots of money, major patch metal repair done that would all need to be replaced, but  if you wanted to drive it as a daytona clone it was cool at 35k.  :shruggy: :Twocents:

Funny, i just read the add again. clean body NO RUST   :smilielol:  :smilielol:  :smilielol:  :smilielol:  like i said that body has patches and bondo all over the quarters, floors and signs of rust all over. I am afraid that car is doomed to be flipped for the rest of it's life. And as for Real Daytona parts I would say only the wing and nose cone which were nice i would have to say. Fenders have side marker lights welded up, wing braces where iron C-channel and it was missing a lot of the headlight stuff.  :2thumbs:

I was informed by someone that knows the car that it is in very poor condition.
Apparently that's why the guy in Cali filpped it so quick after buying it from BK.

Seems that a lot of people don't take care of their cars the way that we do.
I have a friend that owns an original triple black, four speed, six pack 71 Cuda and it sits outside while his garage is almost empty.
Only in America do we have high dollar cars sitting in the driveway and $200 worth of crap locked up safe and sound in the garage.  :eek2:

Ha! Thanks for your patience. I love the wing cars but am a little lacking on knowledge, as I am on the Chargers too. Slowly but surely with everyone's help.
