Anyone make 70 Charger rubber bumper extention strips?

I can get they are not exactly the same, mainly because bumper shape is diff so won't fit, but My doubt is still there. Why if you made a change on that on mid 69, you will get back to the earlier design. The mid year change won't have sense then.

Is the same to 71/72s guards.

I thought the change was for some fed requirements, dunno if really was or just because a simply basic design stuff.

I know a guy with a 67 Camaro and it has a pistol grip shifter in it that was made in a factory, does that count?
