That with the AMD panels avaliable now....you could probably build a 1968-69 Charger using a Coronet body of the same year?

And with only a couple of actual Coronet two-door parts in the mix, you could very well build one out of a FOUR DOOR???

Who is going to be the first to do this?

Lets start a parts list.

1. Everything from firewall forward.
2. Everything from firewall back.

You know, this is probably possible. You would need almost every body panel though.

You wouldn't need everything...the floor pan, front inner fenders, trunk pan and inner wheelwells are all the same. If you were using a 2 door as the base all you would have to replace are fenders, hood, roof, quarters, outer wheelwells, tailpanel, and trunklid......

It was bad enough I just read about what it would take to convert a 70 into a 68!

Yeah, I realized this possibility a while back. 

Take a 2dr Coronet or Belvedere, yank the skin off, and replace it all with Charger parts. 



You'd need to fabricate/pirate some Charger stuff for the doorjambs and the inner metal structure around the rear window area.  Not very much else at all.
