tic toc tac

I am having a problem with the tic toc tac in my 68 Charger.  I installed a Chrysler electronic conversion system and everything works fine except that the tac now reads exactly double the engine speed. Checked wire connections and grounds.  Anyone else have any experience with this? Any suggestions for a fix?

It should work fine, all of the tach wires are in the same location, evan the wire that goes to the
negative side of the coil. I put one of the new Chrysler ignition systems on one of my cars 25yrs ago
never had any problems still works fine.
