I'm not sure what you mean by "cut and shut" and making profit in this case. 


In the USA people usually only cut a car like that if it is necessary for rust repairs.

Yes, they are unibody cars. Unlike Chargers, you can purchase every single piece of sheet metal for one (including an entire body shell). I'd rather see metal replacement like that than riveted on patches covered with Bondo. There's a place in Arizona converting coupes to fastbacks and I believe their out-the-door price is about $9k for a finished (welded, primered, etc) shell. I don't know what "concourse restored rolling shell" means.

Yea, I was going to say, it looks unibody to me. Not much of it there but it is a unibody.
