The Republic -

The Republic as in the book by Plato? If so, were you ever able to finish it? I absolutely love the discussions, but as a non-native speaker the dialogue becomes too dreadful at times. I never finished it.

I am not much of a fiction reader and stick to non-fiction literature. Currently I am reading the God Delusion by Richard Dawkinson.

I was finally able to snag this book recently & have gone through 10~ish pages a night for the last week or so. :)

I also recently got this book. Not necessarily just for the fitness aspect of it, but more for the cool autobiographical stories that are in it along the way. If you're a Stallone fan, you'll like this book.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Oooh, I'd like to read that one by Major Winters. :yesnod: Gonna have to find one.
My next book in line will be this one.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

That book is so damn sad...      after all that survivor syndrome bullshit some people randomly killed his Dog after he got back to the states

Interesting side not - a friend of mine was one of the USAF SF sent to retrieve the 16 other SF killed in the rescue helicopter crash...     as he mentioned the whole operation was a "Supreme Cluster F*** of epic proportions"

who has time to read?   :shruggy:

Actually, i read Little Golden Books every night for 20 minutes.  Some curious george books, the pigeon wants a hot dog, froggy gets dressed, etc...   :icon_smile_big:

Artie Lange "too fat to fish!"

You know, im a huge Stern and Artie fan, but I thought the book was somewhat of a disappointment. Don't get me wrong, there were some really good stories and revelations, but a lot of them seemed to be just 'filler' or stories that anyone who listens to the show regularly has already heard a billion times. I guess I was expecting more, since the ghostwriter (Anthony Bozza) is the same guy who did Slash's book (which I really enjoyed).

I have three more classes left.  I wish I did this stuff in my twenties.  I'd be a millionaire now and have two restored Chargers.  Anyone would benefit from this class especially younger people :Twocents:
