How hard is it to swap out a steering box on a '68 charger?  Will I need to unbolt and jack up the engine?  Going from stock to a Firm Feel.

Also changing the pitman and idler arm.

Piece of cake. Undo the steering coupler and the pitman arm off the center link. Undo the 3 bolts and snake it out. If it is power steering undo that stuff too. If the steering coulpler doesn't slide back enough you may need to undo the steering column and pull it back a little.

I just did mine with a 440 and HP manifolds.  Not hard to get it out.  It MAY be with headers, though.
