That's a new one for my list, so I'm no help.

Anyone else interested in taking a run at picking it up for posterity?  I'll give it a whirl up to a point, but there's no sense in bidding against one another...

Dans 68

I'll contribute $10 bucks to you towards winning the broadcast sheet. Good luck!  :2thumbs:

Looks like I'll be eating bologna sandwiches for a while if this pace keeps up...

69_500

Ah bologna my son's favorite thing other than hot dogs, and mac&cheese.

UFO

I guess it's possible that the present owner of the car is also bidding.

I hate stuff like this....I'm betting the owner of the car was trying to bid and somebody kept upping his bid because they wanted the sheet. Amazing what it sold for. Sheets should be returned to the owner of the car....not sold on Ebay for high amounts of money :rotz:

I seriously hope the owner of the car got it.....really sucks that he had to bid that high to get it if so....

And if he didn't, then someone else really has too much discretionary income.

hemigeno

It definitely wasn't me - my snipe program's bid got left in the dust on that one.

As with everyone else, I hope the owner of the car was the high bidder.  It'd have been great if the rest of the eBay world knew that the owner was still around and bidding, but the eBay seller could be limiting his profit potential by disclosing that little fact... sad but true...

69_500

I was hoping like crazy that you didn't have a bid in that high Geno. I know I have bid what I thought was some crazy prices for broadcast sheets and fender tags to C500's in the past but nothing nearly that high. The highest I went was $500 for a fender tag and dash VIN for a 500 but wasn't the high bidder on that pair.

Here is a update on that buildsheet. DAYTONA VIN WARNING By Dave Patik. That daytona was crushed hard and rolled and scrapped in 1983 in New Jersey.Hmmn from my area. I recall parts going around but no car Might even be possible that Big Block Sam real daytona wing came from this same car?.But will ask and alert some other NJ aero car friends Paul K Tom M still in my area

Hmm was this the leftover car that was on ebay a few years ago ? There was still the fendertag i believe or the vin maybe both. Seems to me it was in NJ, pics were in a scrap yard. Pretty sure there was a thread going on here. Story was it was pretty much drove off a cliff.

From the pics what was left was from the firewall to the backseat and it was flat, rusted ect.
