Wow...didn't see that coming. :o

"CNN is reporting that veteran actor David Carradine has died.

Various other news agencies – including Thailand's English-language newspaper The Nation – are reporting that the 73-year-old was found in his Bangkok hotel room, a victim of an apparent suicide by hanging.

Carradine is best-known for his role in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill movies, as well as TV guest spots on Alias, Medium, Eve, In Case of Emergency and the new Fox drama series Mental.

Carradine starred on the 1970s series Kung Fu and the 1990s follow-up, Kung Fu: The Legend Continues.

Carradine is the eldest son of legendary character actor John Carradine, and is the brother of Keith Carradine, Robert Carradine and Michael Bowen. He had actress daughters Calista Carradine and Kansas Carradine, and nieces Ever Carradine and Martha Plimpton.

He starred in more than 100 movies, dozens of TV movies and theatre roles. Carradine received Golden Globe nominations for his role in Bound for Glory (1976) and North and South (1985), and a best actor Emmy nomination for Kung Fu."

WOW!!!! RIP David, you were the better warrior.

I will never forget when he was doing Lone Wolf McQuaid with Chuck Norris and they had to stop the fight scene with them because the fight got real and David was winning hands down.

Sublime/Sixpack

I heard about that on the news this morning, its sad to hear that he took his own life.

I just saw this too on the news. I remember him from the tv show "Kung Fu". And he was in the movie "Cannonball". I think he was the driver of the '68 Charger in the movie. I only saw a 1.3 of the movie once, dont remember for sure. And in the movie "Death Race 2000" (the original movie).  And as af late, he was doing phone commercials.

RIP David  :'(

He drove a Pontiac firebird, and a hot rod mustang, the bad guy drove the badass black 68 charger  :yesnod:
He also played in Death Race 2000 with stallone.

RIP Carradine.

I find it odd that a 73 year old guy would hang himself...but he was a movie star, so anything goes with that crowd. :rotz:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

It happens.  One of my best friends died that way.  His mom found him hanging in his basement.  Not good.

They are now reporting that the maid found him with a cord wrapped around is neck and genitals. To bad he will be remembered for that, not all the great characters he played. My favorite was the Long Riders (1980) where he teamed up with his brothers and the Keach brothers to portray the James-Younger gang.

Martail Art guys of his stature are very different people. Take Bruce Lee for instance, to this day, they say his death was....but it was murder via Mafia.
Now David Carradine. Hung himself? Yea right. We're just outsiders being told what we want to hear. Who in the hell would go out that way and want to be remembered like so? Answer: nobody. My point being, he was no coward.
I've seen close friends take they're own life's over the years, but his *suicide* is now a mystery IMO that will be covered up as well as many others.

R.I.P. David Carradine.
