Yea, the 'vert kinda negates the need for a plug. 
Although if you were truly dedicated you would have made a special top frame to simulate the plug!

When i bought all the parts the guy had everything  but the wing brackets and the plug window and moldings .  So the plan from day one was to do the convertible thing , saw one in a magazine and fell in love  :drool5: :drool5:    The parts I used came off a superbird that was tboned in the late 70's and the guy owned a body shop and stored them in the rafters untill 96 when his shop went out of buisness .  I then swooped in and nabbed them .  It was one of those urban legends of a superbird nose hanging from the rafters .
