hood clearance question

got an edelbrock low rise 2186 ordered and a performer 600 along with a heat dissipating gasket set for my 70 383...does anyone know beforehand if I should expect clearance issues using the factory dual snorkel air cleaner?

I wouldnt think so..

You should be ok, im using a edelbrock rpm performer which is approx. 2" higher than stock also a 1/4" carb gasget and a 3 1/2" open brether.
