Gettysburg, PA AACA show results and pics

Well, we got home late last night from the Gettysburg, PA AACA National show.  We were going for our First Junior AACA National award.  We did not stick around to find out the results since I had to get home for work the next day.  Late last night around 10:30 PM we get a call with the good news.  We got the First place award.  Competition was tough though.

For those of you who do not know the AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America), they judge the car according to the way it left the factory.  Some of the shows get some really extraordinary vehicles.  At this this show, there was an old popcorn vending truck that took 11 years to restore and was supposedly the only restored one in existance at this point.

The fire extingushers on the grass infront of all the cars is kinda weird

fire extinguishers are a mandatory requirement for showing your car.  Your car will be disqualified if you do not have one.  Therefore, people usually put them all in the same spot at the shows so the judges can easily see them and not have to search through every car trying to find them.  Anyway.... more pics still....

Shame I didn't have your number.  Jackie came down and hung out with us for a short time before we had to load up and get back home since I had to work the next day.  The AACA shows are a great place to find some very rare and unusual stuff.
