took the charger to a local show today got a 2nd place for the 60-69 catagory 1st place was a 66 SS 396 4 speed chevelle which  I admit was a way nicer car. but still beat out several chevelles, first gen camaros, etc.

Rolling_Thunder

it means a lot to beat out 99% of the chevys and mustangs IMO because we as mopar people can not just go purchase a new part when our old ones are in shit condition...     so just keep that in mind    Congrats    :2thumbs:

That's one of the weirdest places I've seen a car show....but cool all at the same time. Congrats!

Congrats...I assume when you started the car up to leave the sea of brand x vehicles parted as your Charger roared on its way.

Thanks guys this was the first show for this place and they were not expecting as many cars as they had thats why the gridlock parking, its actually a paved area leading to a local lake lodge. when i got ready to pull out on of the ladies putting on the show asked if i could pull down by the lake for pics, so i did and the chevys had to wait in line to get out which i thought was mildly amusing :D

What state was this in? California? LEON.

Your son looks like a "little' mechanic just dying to get into dad's tools and help him out.

Congrats on your trophy, a very nice win against all those Chevy's.
