Frankie Valli and Elvis Presley.  Yes I'm that old.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Fred

I had the great pleasure of seeing The Eagles when they performed their Farewell 1 Tour here in Melbourne. Enjoyed it so much I went out and bought the dvd.
In my opinion they are the greatest band around. To me, their songs sound as good today as they did back in the seventies.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

Adding another one to the list, a jazz trio called "Nevermind" with keyboardist John Medeski from Medeski, Martin & Wood. They had a Hammond organ, drums & guitar. It was a really great show that was free at a small club by me called "The Falcon" where you leave a donation to help cover the expense.

I get to add another.  :D

Saw Chris Botti this past Friday night with my wife & daughter at the Wellmont Theater in Montclair, NJ. Chris Botti is a jazz trumpet player, but he crosses over several music styles including some funk, rock & classical. I'd almost guarantee that if you're strictly a Metallica fan, you'd probably fall asleep, but it was a great show with a super tight band.

Just in case anyone is interested in seeing who he is....

updating my list again:

Filter
Saliva
Great White*
Quiet Riot*
L.A. Guns*
Enuff Z Nuff*

Got Filter coming up again in November. Never been a huge fan but I saw them in July and thought they put on a great live show. And they even threw in a ZZ Top cover for good measure.

*or whatever is left of those bands.

Queen w/mercury

Damn. Awesome.  :2thumbs:

Saw Queen when News of the World came out & a couple of times after. Mercury & the rest of them always did a great performance. I will admit that even though I hated their stuff after that fat bottom bicycle song came out, the live show I took my sister & her friends to was good.

I saw them 3 times. All with Mercury. I never considered seeing them with Paul Rodgers.

I saw the News of the World Tour (my first concert) and then twice on The Game tour. Billy Squier opened the Boston show.

Been busy with concerts lately & can now add Steely Dan to my list.   Saw them in Boston at the Wang Theater & thought they were great. The theater is absolutely incredible & looks like a palace from a storybook. There's been a lot of nice venues, but this one is the most impressive one I can recall. I've wanted to see Steely Dan ever since the Aja album came out, but with their lack of touring & my own calendar it just never happened. The two songs they played Saturday night that made the whole trip worth it, was "Aja" & "Reelin' In The Years". My daughter is now a fan of Steely Dan.   :2thumbs:

Also met up with nh_mopar_fan & his wife for dinner & a couple of beers before the show. That might be the only time my daughter will have ever seen a Red Sox fan (nh_mopar_fan) & a Yankee fan (me) hanging out in Boston drinking beers together without name calling.

I'm going to a concert today!!! I'm seeing foo fighters, cage the elephant, and mariachi El Bronx. I have seen:

Judas priest
white snake
powerman 5000
since October
rehab
buck cherry
papa roach
red
and alot of others that i cant think off the top of my head. the only difference is I haven't paid for any of these concerts. I see em for FREE. my buddy works at the power balance pavilion (aka arco arena).
I came here to kick ass and chew bubble gum, but I'm all out of bubble gum.

My son is going to a concert tonight.  World War III with Asking Alexandria and Hollywood Undead.  3 other bands I've never heard of.
