Out of all the bands posted here, this is the only one that makes me jealous.  How was it?

A few good bands I have seen that come to mind:

Ozzy Osbourne
Black Label Society
Pantera
Disturbed
Eric Clapton
Tesla
Black Sabbath

I can add another show to my list, but it was a band I had seen several times already.......YES

They still put on a great show considering they aren't youngsters anymore. Chris Squire on bass, Steve Howe on guitar, Alan White on drums, Oliver Wakeman on keyboards, & Benoit David on vocals. I wasn't planning to go see them, but they were in a small theater in NYC called The Town Hall & the singer sounded EXACTLY like Jon Anderson. Anderson was sick a while back & Chris Squire found the new guy on Youtube playing up in Montreal in a YES cover band. It was a chance to take my daughter to see another concert, so my wife & I bought 3 tickets that were a bargain by some of today's ticket prices at $40 each.

It's fun taking our daughter Kate, who's 10, to concerts. She loves music & to give her a chance to get a head start at seeing live shows is a good idea. I'd rather have her with me & my wife then with some friends getting lost for her first concerts. She's now seen......

Bill Monroe
Allison Krauss
Peter Rowan
Tony Rice
Nine Inch Nails (2x)   :D
Saul Williams
Bauhaus
Little Sammy Davis
James Cotton
Bill Frisell
YES

And she's going with us to see Jeff Beck in June   :coolgleamA:

geez........My first concert was KISS on December the 12th 1976

Alice Copper
AC/DC
Beck
Black Sabbath
Blue Oyster Cult
Foreigner
Rush
Deep Purple
Judas Priest
Ted Nugent
Todd Rungren
Styx
Reo Speedwagon
Jethro Tull
The Who
Dream Theater
Scorpions
VanHalen, VanHagar
Sammy Hagar
Quiet Riot
Queensryche
Foghat
Bachman Turner Overdrive
April Wine
Aerosmith
Boston
Journey
38 Special
Molly Hatchet
The Outlaws
Wasp
Rat
Tesla
Johnny and Edgar Winter group
Steve Miller band
Eagles
etc

There is a bunch more. Cotton Bowl Jam in 78. Too Many Bean Blossom boogies to count, a thousand garage bands. Sturgis a few years. Fla for a few more.

The piece de resistance`: I was at the show when Ozzie quit Black Sabbath. Indianapolis, The Convention Center. VanHalen opened, and rocked.

Sabbath came out and played......it wasn't pretty. About half way through Oz proclaimed he would never again play with a bunch of geriatric sonsofbitches and threw the mic down and walked off

I had tickets to a show in 1977 that was canceled. Lynyrd Skynyrd. I still have my "flames" cover street survivors in cellophane, never played. I might just take that one to the grave with me.

I saw them in Toronto - I still can't believe the job they did with Moon River! Lifelong fans of both - going back to the Yardbirds days. Clapton, then Beck then Paige and Beck and then just Paige. Do you remember what Zep was called before Keith Moon kinda gave them their name?

I'd seen EC more times that I can count but had never seen Beck. He blew me away on his set. Day in the Life was amazing. My wife sings opera and was stunned when he finished with Nessun Dorma from Puccini.

Clapton said years ago, with Jeff , it's all in his hands. A guitarists guitarist. He has been doing Day in the life for a few years now but I never get tired of it!

Well - If we are talking about all the bands I have ever seen it would be a long list. As far as your faves - Led Zep, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Rush, Deep Purple - I have seen all of them live. Rush is a "Local" band to us...I have even seen them in my High School.

C_stripes

I got to meet Jet the other night. That was pretty cool. Me and one of my lady friends got to go to the pre concert show. There were the two of us and crew. It was like we had our own privet show for a little wile. The band manager took the following pic.

The crash kinds were way good too
