I've got a 69 Charger with a 440 auto!  Factory radiator (from a c body car though), no shroud, no fan clutch, with a 7 blade fan.  Temp guage is aftermarket.  When the whether is warm outside like it gets here in Oklahoma & cruising the car in alot of stop & go traffic the engine temp rises to 240 - 245 is the warmest its ever got and the radiator pukes coolant out the over flow tube.  If the car is moving down the road, the temp runs around 190.  Is the 240 - 245 too hot?   :flame:  If so, what can I do about it?  Thanks - KYLE

Yes too hot.....get a shroud & a good fan/clutch setup (Mopar viscous package works well) to help your low speed cooling.

How is the topic "misleading"?

r_biccum

It refers to you being hot, not your car  :smilielol:
