This is the one I was telling you about yesterday that I could have had for 12.9 back in 85-86.

George Herman was the owners name(I was friends with his son Charlie)  Keith Black motor as Mr. Herman actually knew him and KB built the motor for him I was told.  I never asked how due to the fact that Mr Black was in California and Mr Herman lived in Virginia.  Must have been a racing thing.

I remember the first time I heard it start, I almost crapped myself. :2thumbs:
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Nice, but the crushed velvet interior makes me want to :puke:

I loved it!  That car won something every time it went to a show.  Remember the years I was talking about.  Old school baby, old school.  We need to bring it back.  Matter of fact I saw some old school stuff yesterday and loved it!!!!

That's what I'm talking about. I like the whole car, AS IS! And that's how I would keep it today!

What ever happened to it. That car is awesome. Was it a real J code car?

I have no idea.... that was 23 years ago and I left Virginia in 1987, sorry.  As far as if it was a J code car, i'm assuming you mean a hemi equipped car from the factory?? :shruggy:
Once again, I have no idea.  I just liked it cause it was cool.  It could have been a base model turned into that and it would have been worth the same  amount to me.  I haven't changed much in that regard, yes I agree numbers mean something and value is what it is but If there was a roadrunner and satellite sitting next to each other and I thought the satellite was done up nicer, I would take it over the roadrunner, if that makes sense.

How come in the first pic it has a stock grille, but in the next it has a gold anodized one? :scratchchin:

:iagree:

I prefer the stock grill too. But I suppose gold trim wasn't as "factory" as it is today. Its all over (or was) the imports these days.
