Does one end of the sending unit ground strap connect to the 3/8" outlet tube and the other end to the stainless steel fuel line coming from the fuel pump?

Thanks for the reply.  Can I used a piece of 14 gauge wire secured by hose clamps to the metal surfaces or should I use the original style ground strap?

I have the original style on mine as well as a short piece of wire going from the sender up to the shock mount crossmember.  I don't know why there are two on it, it was like that when I bought it and I'm too lazy to change it.  Point is, as long as you get a ground from the sending unit to the metal on the car body you should be okay.

I did it for LOOONG time... worked perfect... just got the ground strap because correctness.

well in fact I really didn't need it the wire either because gas tank straps were enough ground, but making everything right!
