Is there a cruise-in scene in Seattle where gear heads can BS?

Check out this sites show schedule:  http://www.nwccc.net/carshows/index.html
You might want to turn the volume down.  This site plays oldies & it's loud.  They have a lot of shows in the NW listed.

I've found I enjoy fellow club members' bench racing when we have our meetings.  It usually takes me the entire length of the cruise/show to look at all the cars cause I won't pass an opportunity to BS w/ someone.

Of course next weekend is the Spring Round Up @ Everett.

I know every Friday night out in Covington at the Walmart, the Maple Valley Street Rats have a Cruise-in.  I went last week.  Runs from 4-8.  I had to bail before 5 though, so I didn't see a lot of the cars that were showing up.  One 68 Charger was there, http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,57719.0.html

I guess we're lucky in a sense.  At Portland International Raceway starting June 3rd, every Wednesday there's a show & 1/8 mile racing.  Sometimes the show brings in over 1000 cars.  The best part is there's not a bunch of trophies.  A couple cars will get to park up front the next week and get a shirt/gift certificate is the extent of awards.

So it eliminates a lot of the trophy hounds & you get to see lots of cars' you haven't seen before.
