Hey guys,

Want to start working on the new engine but i want to get it cleaned up and checked out before doing anything to make sure that it will be a good block to work with. Is there any shops in the NYC area?? Would like a reputable place to do it, but i dont want to over pay just because of a name.

Thanks,

Frank  :2thumbs:

We took our 440 to BBC over in Linden NJ about 20mins from the tunnels and right off of Rts 1&9.

Full machine shop and very fair prices on the machine work... Ask for Mike (the owner) tell him that Dimetrius referred you

This Charger right here is a one of none, that means none before it, none to come.

Thanks!

Any rough ideas on the price to just have a block cleaned up and checked out?  :2thumbs:

If you don't mind crossing the Hudson River there is a machine shop in Emerson, NJ that's done 2 engines, a 4 speed, & an 8-3/4" rear for me. He did 2 other Chebby engines for friends that I sent there, one was a 283 & one was a 396. Very reasonable & the owner is one of the people who does the work himself.

The owner's name is Rich, the shop is called North Jersey Performance & Machine Inc.
