WIW/What would you pay?

This car is pretty close to me. I was wondering what you guys think. I think it's a 10G car, 318, no mention of a fender tag, but it does look straight. Any opinions?

The red over spray on the black firewall make me cautious.

Might be a quickly cleanup, bondo, make look decent but its rotted to crap.

If you want ill go with ya one of these days to take a look.

I do want to look at it, I'm short on the 10g I would offer right now. The resale red makes me wonder too. It says 77000 original miles on the CL ad. 318, no mention of tag, oh and did I mention 318?

I seen that car two weeks ago myself on line. Is it me or are there no rear side marker lights? Once again, the re-sale red paint job turns me off.
I was thinking 8 grand personally and thats it.
Besides, I'm honestly looking for a '68 or '70 vs. a '69. But it never hurts to look.

There are no rear lights!  I think if you look close you may not want to pay the $10K!

He mentions what I guess is rust repair to trunk and floor pans.

Never seen a car with those two areas rusted out without it also needing some 1/4 panel work.



Here is the type of car to buy when you have the $15K. Keep saving your almost there. Plus why buy a car on the East coast, when the West coast is still selling cars (grew up in Syosset).
