I remember my friend John called on it was in MD.And he saw the ad in Hemmings and called me about .Man is this car needing some help.See its slideshow.Wonder were it ended up and if its being saved

holes down low under the heater core holes. my car doesnt have them.

Ahhh. OK, I see them now. I bet a previous owner had A/C installed. The air conditioning lines were typically run through the firewall down there back in the day...

They also had the add on air unit under the glove box.And the lines would run through the firewall as Troy indicated
