New gasket for windshield and rear glass??

Who sells the rubber gaskets that surround the windshield and rear windows?  I have the chrome trim already removed, and can get the glass out by taking it to a glass shop, but if the glass comes out, new rubber will have to be used when i install it later.  I'd prefer to have the metal repaired without the glass in the way, there are several holes in the metal on the edge of the rubber trim and to do the job right it really needs to be fixed. I found a 2 inch long hole at the bottom of the windshield about 4 inches to the right of the drivers side wiper, and that is too large to be filled/soldiered, needs to be patched, but it is right under the rubber window gasket.

The rear glass has a 3 inch section that i repaired a long time back and it seems to be holding up, but at the time i had to rebuild part of the lip, and frankly just would feel more comfortable about seeing if there is something that was missed directly under the edge of the glass.

Sooo, where can i get the rubber gasket replacement for the windshield, and does the back glass use a similar gasket??

You can get a new windshield seal from a company called Steele Rubber Products.  There is no seal for the rear window, it is held in by 3/8" butyl tape which you can get at any auto parts store.

The autoglass company I used supplied mine with the new windshield, you can also put the rear window in with the same black sealant used on the windshield. The ruuber windshield rubber was MUCH cheaper than anywhere I could find anywhere else.

Well, its been a few years now, (got the winshield and rear glass out intact) and getting ready to reinstall the front and rear glass.  clips around windshield are in great shape, i'll have to buy a few new ones for the back glass, or install a whole new set.

Question i have for the front glass is:  are there holes in the window channel for the windshield, designed to drain water to the cowl area?  On each side, there looks to be a piece that was cut and bent out to serve as a lip to rest the glass on, sort of trapazoid shaped piece, but behind the tab there is an opening that looks like it was meant to be there.  One side the hole has gotten slightly larger from rust, i ground it out and removed the rust, but now have to decide if i need to weld in a new patch where the hole exists (support tab is plenty strong, but the hole is about 1/8" longer than the other side. Does the windshield gasket normally cover these to restrict water flow? The car has almost no rust other than the trunk area, pays to store them inside a garage for decades.  Have welder, can tack in or fill the hole if necessary, but if there for a reason, i may want to leave it alone.
