Crawled under my newly arrived car today after it broke down on my "test' drive.  Here's what I found after I cleaned some paint off.

Dodge Don

And?

Do they match your VIN XS29U0G212328? They are 70 numbers and from the St. Louis assembly plant which is where the 70 Chargers were made

1969chargerrtse

They are the same numbers as the vin you listed so I would think so.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Buzzit1

my vin is 212528

Car is a 1970 charger R/T SE

Here's the #'s I have found so far

Jim

Just 6T9 CHGR

#'s matching to the max!  Congrats

Thanks a lot.  Just wish my original fan hadn't grenaded itself today.   Maybe someone will have an extra one for sale & contact me.

Jim,, she sounds like a great car and you're a lucky cat, all the original components, number-wise, are there.... Is the fan itself wasted or just the clutch?

fan blade broke 2 blades off and I don't trust clutch either so I must replace the : radiator, fan blade, fan clutch, fan shroud

I've been there before, not with my Charger though...my truck, when I was a teenager. The water pump bearing was loose, making noise & the shaft was wobbly. Being a dumb kid, I continued to drive it, thinking that I would get to it when I could afford a new pump. One night the shaft broke & sent the fan into the radiator...one blade broke off, bounced off the battery & tried to go through the hood. :-\

I don't drive vehicles anymore with wobbly water pump shafts. :icon_smile_big:
Oh & congrats on your numbers matching Charger!

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
