Troy, we're rooting for you. I hope he hasn't sold it.
I hope you buy the car, keep it a few years and then sell it to me later when I have the money to buy it. ::)

Oh no,,
I'm not looking at it for me... I'm going there to double check the car from a third person point of view in case anyone on this board or moparts is interested. I'm also going to meet him. Live less than 10 to 15 miles from him for over a decade now and have never met him and I'm the Prez of the Mopar Club here.. tisk tisk on me... :)   Granted,,,,, he doesn't get out to shows much...

I was surfing over on the WWW.CARSINBARNS.COM site and noticed a car very similar.I tried to link the picture to this site and it said "protected by cars in barns".If you go to the site then to wing cars and it is in the lower rh corner of the page.It also has other photos.Could it be the same car?

http://www.carsinbarns.com/Superbirds%20&%20Daytonas/index.htm

The car on the trailer in the RH corner is a 4 speed 6 pack .Im not sure if I sent that. I posted several wingcars my own and found cars on this site

It was a natural assumption that maybe since the Daytona hunt wasn't going as planned that you just might have been inclined to look at a Superbird instead. I love the Daytonas, but with the big difference in price, I'm definitely leaning towards a bird myself. I like both cars equally well.
I would be interested in Ted's car, but we're still about a year away from buying a wingcar.

You can some see it in Dallas, I bought it this weekend.  Ted's a stand up guy.  Anyone have any more info on this car? I'm trying to get further history on it, btw, she runs great.

This is the FY1 yellow benchseat project superbird thats currently on ebayBack sometime in the 80-s .It was bugging me as I recalled seeing that same vin somewhere else besides on ebay .This also provides a timeline as back in the day .I assume the car had a front nose damage commonly occured back in the day with no bumper .And was cheaper to change the nose clip.Back in the day I went to look at a similar color superbird with satellite front end.And Im pretty sure its the same car .Going to see if I can contact 2 known earliest owners to trackdown paperwork perhaps

My cousin bought one in the eighties with a regular RR nose. It was an orange 440, auto, it had the wing and right back window and the front windshield trim. the guy said he bought it that way.
