Firmfeel fast ratio pitman arm w/o idler arm

Firmfeel says it is OK to use their fast ratio pitman arm w/o the longer idler arm.  Is anybody doing this?  How are tight turns?

I don't know about Firm Feel but original Chrysler Fast Ratio was the different pitman arm and normal idler arm.
